Machine Vision: Mapping The Environment is a technology seminar that introduces techniques of machine vision in the context of architecture. Students explored different techniques such as object recognition, environment sensing, prediction of behavior etc as well as use different tools such real sense camera, pix4d, basic programming language ROS and many more. The subject of the study – office furniture – was used as a starting point of the research and included whiteboard, podium, chair and desk. The research and findings were then applied, prototyped and experimented in full scale with the use of Turtlebot.
