Welcome to Rumble 2025, UCLA Architecture and Urban Design’s (AUD) annual celebration of student work.

Rumble 2025 will be on view for the UCLA community on Monday, June 9 and Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Rumble is free and open to the public. Please register via Eventbrite to secure your space.

Now in its 17th installment, Rumble transforms AUD’s studios and reviews into an interactive installation, in which Perloff Hall becomes an experimental ground–a stage and incubator for design dialogue and inquiry, where varied ideas and possibilities are energized by a shared interest in where design stands today and where it is heading.

Studio reviews uniquely concentrate and frame the AUD community's design preoccupations, while also representing a threshold between present work and future opportunity for our students–especially those who graduate from UCLA days after the last reviews close.

Rumble’s juxtaposition–physical and intellectual–of AUD’s creative production frames the Department’s broader interest in cross-pollination across disciplines, curiosities, and experiences. Across multiple events and platforms, faculty and students engage the broader architecture and urban design communities in conversations about the future of design and the built environment.
